Dimpex International was founded by Mrs. Prabha Thakar in July 1972 as a small handicraft unit. What began as a passion project in a rented premises gradually grew into a globally recognized exporter of handcrafted Batik products, serving customers across the world.
As the business continued its remarkable journey toward success, Mrs. Prabha Thakar sadly passed away on 31st August 2011. In recognition of his dedication and commitment, she entrusted the rights of Dimpex International to Mr. Sudhir Gaikwad through her will.
Mr. Sudhir Gaikwad had been associated with Dimpex International for more than 27 years. Under his guidance, the experienced Dimpex team has continued to uphold the company's legacy by delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers worldwide. Excellent service and Sudhir is always thinking with me to customize T-shirts, pants, bags etc. Once started as a special initiative of Prabha Thakar, to help women become more self supporting, now these women are real artists, making beautiful designs in batik. Yoga bolster(cover)s/blankets/belts etc etc. all of very good quality. International orders are taken and managed very well.
